I decided to catch up on blogging after an embarrassing absence. It's not you, it's me! After a nightmarish summer school schedule I crashed and burned (not literally) but after all the events of last semester and then 7-hour a day study sessions for my physical anthro class plus American history I hit the wall with school. So, this fall after being unable to function after a full week of courses I reluctantly dropped to one class (fortunately, it is a class I love!) to maintain my academic standing at college. I am starting to feel like a normal person again and even able to write sentences again! Never fear, every day has been full of lots of activity but my new guilty pleasure is to watch DVD episodes of "The Bionic Woman" (the seventies were great, huh?) I loved that show back when- Debra and I had a Bionic Woman doll. October has been crazy too. I'm up tonight after filling out more forms for financial aid, scholarships, and college applications. Transfer is coming up! I'll keep you updated, and hang tight everybody with everything you are all doing in all corners of the globe!

Tired!

Beautiful picture of you Geneva. Keep at it with the school work. I was in and out of school for a very long time. (and now I can't escape it) I think there was an episode where the bionic woman and the million dollar man met.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words, cousin; it helps to hear from someone who has been there (and still is, your students are lucky!) ...Yes, there was definitely some crossover action with the Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic woman. They were going to get married before she had a skydiving accident and then became bionic. She also had major memory loss and couldn't remember their relationship. I love Hollywood!... what a convenient way for Lindsay Wagner to have a solo spin-off show.
