MOSCOW UNDER SMOKE. Can anyone spot the theater in the distance? This is the view from my balcony. I'll take another photo once the fires have died out and the smoke has blown away. We're hoping to leave for Turkey this Sunday, but I'm worried our flight will be grounded.

ReplyDeleteI have been a little delayed checking the blog; I just checked some news sources online and they said that the air is clearing up somewhat in Moscow but that the fires are still blazing in many areas. Hope you and the family are safe. From the fires we have experienced near us in the Sierras there is nothing I dread more than the smell and haze of smoke. Very scary stuff.
