Hello, everyone! We have been busy the past month with holidays, upper respiratory infections
(I'm positive the CDC is involved in a conspiracy with their vaccines), and a trip last week to LA. It was sunny and warm there, and now the entire state has been plunged into a weather nightmare. Right now its snowing madly up north all my classes have been cancelled and it was whiteout conditions driving today. Hope you are all safe and warm whatever weather conditions you're facing. Geneva. Pictures are 1)LA; San Vincente/ La Cienega Blvd. and 2)home, tonight. Geneva.
Looks like a lot of snow. Do you ever wear snow shoes in Truckee? The temperature is well below freezing here in Moscow, about -23 Celsius, but the snow is not too thick. Perfect weather for the banya! Best, Matt
ReplyDeleteDad estimated that we got five feet of snow this past week. Our lows have been in the 20's (F)...Moscow weather sounds really numbingly cold!! Do you have fur coats or something equally warm to cope? Is the banya a sauna? We have a little spa on the deck that is about 102 deg. F so is very nice for your aching muscles after shoveling snow. I'm waiting for spring, though! P.S., no snow shoes but sometimes Yaktraks which the US Bobsled teams use. They slip on your shoes and have little coils that keep you from slipping on ice.
