Many of you are aware that Lyena and I are in the habit of betting diapers whenever we disagree on some fact or figure. Truth be told, we've had quite a few disagreements and made quite a lot of bets over the years. And it's certainly been a long time since we've had any dirty baby butts in need of a diaper change (there are nearly 8 years of separation between April and Alex).
By my count, I have amassed a surplus of exactly 10,000 diapers. In other words, when a diaper needs changing, Lyena changes it and my surplus then falls to 9,999. I know this may seem like a large number to some, but I've actually been quite generous. Before I removed the effects of compound interest my surplus was much larger: 30,000 - 20,000 = 10,000.
Unfortunately, we have a bit of a misunderstanding with Lyena. She doesn't quite agree with my record keeping. Somehow she got everything bassackwards and thinks she's the one with the fat diaper account.
So to clear this up as quickly and smoothly as possible, I'm appealing to all of you to straighten this out for us. Please support my petition and gently let Lyena know that it's time she roll up her sleeves, hold her breath and man her station in the dirty diaper assembly line!
